The Approach
Athletes are more efficient in movement and skill than others. The training you do should promote this. Not just looking to increase traditional simple ranges of motion. Learning to integrate the body as a whole to elevate performance is what will separate you from the competition where it matters most.
Garrett Hilton, SFU Leafs
"The success I've had in the last two seasons can heavily be attributed to Colonna Coaching. My stability and ability to set myself up mentally for success continue to allow me to maintain a high level of performance."
Carter Bettenson, Revelstoke Grizzlies
"After working with Colonna Coaching this off season I hit the ice feeling better than I ever have to start the season."
Matt Carter, Medicine Hat Cubs
"Colonna Coaching allowed me to hit the ice this season with more confidence in my on-ice abilities than ever before."
Movement
Conditioning
You want to give yourself the best opportunity to make a game changing play?
These plays often happen late in games; In order to maximize your performance all game long you must condition movements in all 3 states.

Full energy
Full speed
Fatigue

Mastering mechanics in all 3 states will increase results and lower risk of injury in the biggest moments.

You are not going to lay down for a bench press on the ice or the field. In order to utilize your strength properly you need to be able to maintain balance and control in unstable positions.
Consistently training in these positions will allow a natural response to the fast paced enviromental changes that occur in game. Leaving you burning less energy and producing more functional power than your opposition.
Balance & Control
Reactivity
Conditioning your body to respond in conjunction with the mind through complex patterns and variables to ensure you can execute with maximal performance to all the unique needs of your sport.

Linked Strength Power
You want to generate more force in all directions? You need to train the body to perform with integrated link strength. When you link the body together you generate more force in more directions and can out battle the competition.
SAQ: Speed, Agility, Quickness
You want to have the biggest impact on your team?

You need to elevate your ability to create separation in all directions.

Changing pace/direction creates more separation than straight line speed, so learn to use all 3 to create more space and win more battles.
